One More Red Shed Shopping Day Till Christmas

Just one more day (maybe a day & 1/2) to do a little Christmas shopping at the Red Shed for your favorite person.....hmmm...whoever that might be. Here are few quick gift suggestions

Everyone from teens to cool Grandma's love our vintage style initial necklaces. All are Red Shed Originals and are made so that you can open up an additional loop on the bottom to add another charm or bead. At only $9.99, they are great stocking stuffers and church gifts.

For the music lovers............
We only have a couple of our vintage french necklaces left. This one is made from vintage french ephemera and an antique cuff link. It has a vintage chain that is plain on one side and beaded on the other. Only $24.95

Love this one is made from a vintage rhinestone bead and an antique religious medallion found at the Paris Flea Market. Only $24.95

We have just two of the great soldered bottles with vintage embellishments. Originals, made by Michele Jones, these are around $50.00

We have one fabulous Cloche left, on sale for $29.00!

How about some mercury glass candlesticks?

Or this great vintage candelabra?

We still have a few of our potpourri bowls made from vintage lamp parts. This on is my favorite. It looks wonderful with very textural potpourri in it, but because of it's height, it would be just as great to hold your remote, jewelry, or collections....

Look at the beautiful harp detailing on the bowl (shade)! Gorgeous and chic for only $49.00

For the garden lover or bird lover (usually the same person loves BOTH!) We have a few of these adorable bird chalices. They look great on their own and even better with a trailing plant inside. (What a great gift, if filled with birdseed!) These are not old, but they are darling. I don't have a side shot, but that is a little concrete bird on the top. We have 3 sizes and they are all under $20.00 each.

How about a Gift Certificate to the Red Shed, or a Gift Certificate to one of our "Runs With Scissors" Art Classes? You can purchase any denomination. Our January class will be "Woven Textured Textile Purses". There is more information on our 2009 RWS classes on our web site..
Finally, its not too late to give or get the ULTIMATE GIFT. A Trip to Paris with the Red Shed Girls! We have JUST TWO spots left on our April 2009 trip to the Paris Flea Markets. Visit the PARIS page on our web site for more information.
The Red Shed will be open Noon to 5pm on Tuesday, December 23rd, and 9 to Noon on Wednesday December 24th. Michele is holding down the fort on her own, so you may want to call ahead to make sure she hasn't popped out for lunch. 817-310-6006. We will be open next Monday & Tuesday, Dec 29th and 30th, 9 -5, if you want to drop by to say HI, or if you get a gift of cash, and want to turn it into a Red Shed, "feel good" kind of gift.
Finally, Merry Christmas to all of our dear customers, friends, and bloggers! We hope that you have time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. His birth, death, and resurrection is a GIFT that is priceless. One for which we can be forever grateful.
Best and Blessings ALWAYS!

Happy Anniversary & Christmas Cheer at the Red Shed

The Red Shed celebrated it's 3rd Anniversary this weekend, with a fantastic sale! The postcards, emails & blog went out and our theme was "White Christmas". It's funny how sometimes the littlest thing can change everything.
It started when this adorable red velvet Christmas tree was found.....
"How about some poinsettias to greet our dear customers?"

(That is a vintage plant stand, assembled with a vintage chandelier and wired for light!)

"Oh, I have some red silk curtains!"
"And a fabulous crimson rug........."

And a new theme is born.... White Christmas, with a touch of PIZAZZ!

Then we start getting tickled, so we make an angel fly.........
Wrap a mink, and red mufflers around Red and the puppies..........
(a Red Shed Girl, never let's herself get bored...)
Figure out what Really makes us laugh...........

Add a touch of Gold, a touch of Silver, a touch of Wimsy..........

Some architectural interest............

(this is a candle holder made from an old stair rail)

Deck the Hall (Shed) in Pink and Black

And wrap the other side like a French Parlor............ Shake it all up, and what do we get?!? A BIG....

Thank You, Thank You, our Dear Customers and Friends for a wonderful 3rd year at the Red Shed. You showed your appreciation by purchasing almost everything we had, in order to feather your own nests. We love you, appreciate you, thank you for your kind words and gifts, and look forward to a warm and successful 2009.

Thank you , friends & fellow bloggers Joanna & Kimla for sharing their photos with us (we were so busy having fun we forgot to take photos!)
