Antique French Provencial China Cabinet finds a New Home

We LOVE IT when customers send us "After" Pictures! We had this great traditional china cabinet when cute girl, Stacey Rodgers, spied it and knew exactly what she was going to do...

Here it is in it's new home, filled with quilts and quilting supplies. Doesn't it look happy! If you have a Red Shed piece at your house, send us a photo, we will try to find the "before" and we will post it!

Flea Market Style Magazine ** Ki Nassauer teams up with Matthew Mead

Wow! What amazing news we heard today. Our fun friend, Ki Nassauer, (Founder of Junk Market, Junk Camp, Junk Revolution, and Junk Bonanza) told us she had a big announcement coming this week, but again....Wow! Ki is teaming up with designer Matthew Mead to produce their own Magazine, Flea Market Style. According to their web sites "FLEA MARKET STYLE magazine will be filled with fresh ideas, projects, makeovers, before and after transformations as well as a round up of amazing decorating tips, flea marketing trips, insider styling tricks and everything else you could ever dream of in a home decorating magazine" Yea!!! Ever since Country Home kicked the bucket (and they sent me Family Circle instead, which really doesn't cut it) There has really been an "in print" vacuum out there for those of us 'Junkanistas'. Ki's and Matthews contributions had been the best thing about Country Home anyway! The magazine won't be out until 2010, but they will be starting a blog about it in August. For more information visit Ki and Matthew's blogs.
Ki is truly probably one of the most genuine, hardworking, CREATIVE, and humble people you will ever meet, and we wish her MUCH success!

Here is a photo of Ki with Red Shed Girl, Michele Jones at our Junk Bonanza trip slumber party last year.
