Painting Shabby Chic Furniture Trash to Treasure

It is always amazing how much difference a little white paint can make to create shabby chic & french cottage style! It's been a while since we did a little "before & after" so here are a few examples of what can be done....ALL of these items are fabulous and available now at the Red Shed....
(Yes, this is what my garage floors look like...think I'll be featured in "Where Women Create"?)
Repeat after me....paint is your friend....
Come visit us at Red Shed Cottage Chic Antiques in Grapevine, Texas! If you can't make it, visit our online French Boutique at www.Pardon-My-French.com

French Provencial Dresser Highboy Dallas Fort Worth Vintage

Score! I never attend Estate Sales in Dallas, but I thought I would quickly stop by one on my loooong drive from home to the shop. Imagine my surprise when the home was filled with gorgeous quality French Provencial furniture! I have people calling every day for FP Highboys and dressers...so be forewarned...we got em, but they won't last long. (warning, I have this new camera which I absolutely HATE. It makes everything look wide and squat..the following are quite tall)
Gorgeous, Rare Highboy...
I'm calling this a lingerie chest, but it is more substantial than a petite lingerie dresser...

Love this end table! It has a HEAVY marble top...the marble is from Portugal...
Look at this one! I don't know if it is suppose to be a crown, but it looks like one!....
Okay, hold onto your hat.....fabulous French Provencial vanity...
This is a really cool piece of furniture, I've never seen one like it before. The vanity base is very narrow in width and long in length and the triple mirror is wired for lighting.......
Now, hold on to your heart, because I promise, I almost had a heart attack when I saw this one! It's not hung yet, so I can't show the whole thing but............I've never seen anything like it, we don't know how to value is, AND we had an offer on it within 1 hour of arrival at the Red Shed......
And there's more. More crystal clad lamps and French Provencial night stands and occasional tables....Also at the Shed, These gorgeous net lace and crochet panels that we PURCHASED in Provence......
My favorite dresser ever..........
Perfectly shabby chic Tremeau mirror
Reverse stencil side tables.....

We are getting new things in daily and believe it or not, we are STILL bringing out more from Paris.
So come by the RED SHED! Open weekdays MON _ FRI 9-6.
