Two Monkeys visit the Red Shed

Folks are always coming by the Red Shed to ask if they can do photo shoots in our gardens or around the Shed. I'm sure it's because there are so many interesting colors, textures and backdrops everywhere you look.....
Many a photo has been taken in the arbor and there was even an engagement there!
We always have lots of peely wood tables, crusty metal chairs and lots of old doors to use as props.........
And of course, bountiful and beautiful roses in the spring and fall..........So when Karen Gamble a long time Red Shed connoisseur and owner of TWO MONKEYS DESIGNS, asked to do a photo shoot in the gardens for a recent catalog, we immediately said YES!. Two Monkeys has ABSOLUTELY the most DARLING kids clothes that you have ever seen! First take a look at a few of the photos taken on the Red Shed patio....The model is Karen's beautiful daughter.............I love women entrepreneurs and I am thrilled to share a little bit about Karen and TWO MONKEYS.
Karen is a "Fashion Fanatic" and originally started making her "custom, boutique style clothing at a reasonable price" because she was so picky, she couldn't find really great clothes for her daughter. Originally she was creating them for herself, family and friends. Later she found that her son needed special medical treatment, that insurance wouldn't cover, so she "pulled on her big girl panties" (my words, not hers), took her company to the Web and now it thrives! Take a look at some of the fabulous clothes that you can purchase on Karen's website: http://www.twomonkeysdesigns.com/
Two Monkeys Designs, and through her Etsy site : www.twomonkeysdesigns.etsy.com
Most of these photos were taken in our home town of Grapevine, Texas.......
(Of course Karen bought this chair at the Red Shed)

It sounds like we might see TMD in some retail boutiques soon! We are hoping they will be in one of our favs....Bella Butterfly, in downtown Grapevine, but until then....
Run, don't walk to the TWO MONKEYS website and get your orders in before school starts!
