Everything is Blooming for the Red Shed French Roses Sale. This may be my last post because there is so much to do and SO little time! Just know we have the most daring furniture, decor, and displays, and It is all for YOU! So Stop and Smell the Roses at the Red Shed this Saturday, April 17th at 8am!
Rose update....I think we are up to 8 or 10 colors...One bush has 4 different colors!
Grace update, pockets, mini cones and a "mini theater" for the Queen of France!Furniture update....Just a few...we have tons and more is comin' in..............
Original Altered Jewelry update.....just a few of the clever Bling waiting to adorn you!
Now a quick before and after for one of our star pieces...........
I wish I would have taken a photo before it was painted, but oh well. I have been wanting to redo a really rough chair, in a really sort of fancy/rough manner. So when this VERY old chair came to me for a song, I knew I couldn't go wrong and worry too much.....
I mean reallllly rough...
Used the old seat fabric as a patternUsed the old seat back as a pattern and inspiration........
Stapled on the burlap....purposely wanted the staples to show for a bit of an industrial look...
Decided I needed some roses since we are doing a rose theme...........
Roughly tacked them on with some of the burlap threads...........
Fraying the edges turned out to be a lot harder than I thought! Going around the corners got absolutely mathematical!
Don't even think about trying to talk me down on the price!
So What do you Think? Is it worth being first in line on a Saturday morning?
WOW that turned out amazing! I just LOVE the frayed edges.. that really is unique.
