French Market Sale Photos ** We Thank You!
Bonjour!
First, Thank You to all who attended the French Market! After staying up all night, and running home to shower, we arrived back at about 740am to find the parking lot next door full and a line of eager shoppers (Thank you, Michael, for keeping everyone happy until 8am!). We piped the French music outside and opened the doors! Thank you for your patience while waiting in line....it's usually quicker, our credit card machine just decided to crash & burn on our biggest day of the year! And Thank you for record breaking sales, literally our most successful sales day ever! It validates for us that you love what we do and what we share with you....
Here are a few photos, again, thanks to Michael Patras, and hopefully we will have more soon!
The French Market tents were out front, two tents concentrated with merchandise directly from Paris.......(though there was more scattered about the sale.....) it's hard to tell, there is a BIG Eiffel tower there to the left of the arch, and we had Red our bulldog mascot dress with a beret, mustache and ascot...
This was the "Church Room" ..........
The "preacher" is a Monk's night dress from Paris and a large French Rosary, the prayer steps have two actual church pew ends on either side...
We had LOT of religious art from Paris..........
The wood sign from an old Baptist church was the inspiration......
This was the floral and fauna room. It was filled with vintage florals and bird prints, statues, eggs, and lots of nests!!!...
On to the cottage.....lots of fabulous french furniture......and linens. The fabulous crochet lace panels were directly from Provence.....I'll let the pictures do the talkin.......
Hopefully, I will have more photos of the gardens and arbors soon.

Inspiring French Decor French Market Preview
They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery, well, we DID feel flattered when beautiful Brittany Harmon said that she is constantly inspired at the Red Shed. She said that she coveted the sign below, but it wasn't in her budget................
(Here's a pic of Brittany with one of her other "creations".....)
Now we are all about, young moms staying within their budgets, so it didn't hurt our feelings at all when Brittany found some old barn wood, she knew exactly what she would do with it. She created this great sign for her home! Wow, what a great job she did, don't you think!
Thanks so much for sending us the photos! We love to hear from you!
We're glad we inspire you, and we know we can't ALL be as talented as Brittany, so that's where we come in. Let's see what the talented Grace Barzyz has in store for you at the French Market this Saturday......In Grace's words:
"Meet me at the French "BROCANTE" wall hanging..........letter's are covered in french book pages front and back.........adorned with vintage brocante tid-bits and ever so carefully wired with vintage pearls placed randomly.......Antique silver glitter accents (always)......
"Paris" sign.......letters hand-cut w/french angels and ornate hand-cut decoration........of course some antique silver glitter adorns this piece.
La Maison "Brocante" vintage piano roll banner..............
lot's of detail on this one.......lovely vintage crochet lace added in between segments....vintage pics of french furniture and house décor.......vintage rosary bead chain hangs banner.......
I love this!......................Pink French newspaper Roses "On the Vine" w/leaves made of pale green glassene paper..........
Sometimes I just love the way the pattern of the newspaper falls.................I love paper!
Gateaux des Rois paper crown/ 1900's from France (embellished with vintage glitter a la grace.)
Celebrates the Epiphany or Three Kings Day
La Tarte Magnets, I love these.......the glitter has oxidized and they look aged.
Believe it or not folks, there's MORE! Grace has been a very busy girl! If that doesn't get you out of bed for the Red Shed French Market Sale, I don't know what will!
Held of the grounds of The Red Shed, 317 Church St. Grapevine, TX 76051 , June 26th 8am
If you are out of state or just can't make it, don't forget to visit out Online French Boutique, "Pardon My French!". We will be adding many more items after the sale, as well as having a BIG Grand Opening Give-Away!...Stay tuned in July.
