Sunday in Paris

We focus so much on the vintage shopping in Paris, that it is easy to overlook that it is one of the most beautiful and historical cities in the world! I mentioned to sweet Kim S. on the trip that I had wanted to go to the Sunday night concert at St. Chapelle Cathedral for years, and it had never worked out. It is one of my favorite churches in Paris....words can't describe how gorgeous...
That afternoon, Kim called and said she had gotten tickets to the concert (found out she had to wait in line for quite a while!) and we were going! I wanted to share this little bit of heaven in Paris..
The arch over the violinist is covered with angels, and when you closed your eyes, it was easy to imagine you were in Heaven...When we left....already floating on clouds, we were greeted by this sight...
Truly one of the most memorable nights of my life....Thanks Kim!

  2. I spent a few days in Paris twenty-something years ago, and I was overwhelmed by the beauty of it. Also, the people were so friendly, and I had been told they were rude to Americans. Not true at all, in my experience. Thanks for sharing your trip with all of us!
